There are still a few tickets available for the 36th Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony, in Zurich, Switzerland. If you can’t make it there, do join one of the eight Official Watch Parties that we – here and now – officially announce and endorse:

- Flanders – Antwerp – hosted by University of Antwerp at Agora Caffee;
- Flanders – Ghent – hosted by Nerdland / Ghent University at Bar Publika;
- The Netherlands – Utrecht – hosted by Utrecht University at Koningsberger Building;
- Germany – Hamburg – hosted by DESY Research Center (restricted to all 4000 DESY employees);
- France – Paris – hosted by Université Paris Science & Lettres at PSL-Dauphine;
- Sweden – Lund – hosted by ESS & Science Village at The Loop;
- Switzerland – Zurich – hosted by University of Zurich in Hörsaal KOH-B-10 at Künstlergasse.
All Official Watch Parties are Thursday September 3 and they will be watching the live stream of the Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony. Most parties start around 18:00 CET, often with talks by local scientists or even local Ig Nobel winners. Do check program and time schedules. (The ceremony itself begins at 19:00 CET.) The Official Watch Parties are free, but you probably need to register.

If you can’t get to the ceremony itself, and can’t get to one of the Official Watch Parties, you are still in luck.
Watch by yourself, or gather friends informally.
