Rolls: Food may reduce hunger

Rolls (and companions) probed the relationship between food and hunger:

“Subjects were served a milkbased drink or no drink (control), followed 30 min later by a selfselected lunch and > 4 h later by a self-selected dinner…. The volume of the drinks affected ratings of hunger and fullness. These results indicate that the volume consumed is an important determinant of satiety after milk drinks under these conditions.”
