Tannis Y. Slimmon, nominated by Brian Hydesmith, has joined the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists. She says:
My hair and I gratefully accept this honour. We’ve been growing together since I was fifteen, succumbing to the odd trim for purposes of decorum. I’m a mild-mannered research technician by day, working on tissue culture and biotechnology of a variety of Horticultural crops, and a folk rock musician by night, with appearances on over 60 albums, international touring and countless performances.
