What It’s About
Here’s a quick introduction to how the opera begins:
Gastroenterology is a difficult profession! Distressingly difficult. Every gastroenterologist has to deal with an unpleasant fact.
For some of the most serious gastroenterological ailments, doctors can work wonders! BUT… for many of the distressing sensations patients feel in their throats, bellies, and beyond… there is just not much a gastroenterologist can do to make the symptoms stay away. Many a patient feels tempted to blame their doctor.
And maybe some of those symptoms are the price we pay for loving our favorite foods not wisely, but too well….
