Anne Madden has joined the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists (LFHCfS). She says:
I am a microbial ecologist who studies the microbial jungles associated with wasps. I study wasps and their nests, because the tangled jungles of my morning hair defy scientific explanation. . . that, and because the IRB committee cares more about my hair than wasps.
