Christos Moraitis has joined the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists (LFHCfS). He says:
I am proud to say that I haven’t had a haircut in the last 25 years, or so. My doctoral work was centred on the role of free radicals in the heat shock response of yeast, something which I greatly enjoyed, both in terms of the research itself and in terms of the academic freedom. Having worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a number of years, I am currently in the market for a new challenge. Apart from my continuing interest in biological research, I’m also fascinated by advances in particle physics, enjoy good quality loud music, travelling abroad and mobile phone technology.
