Playing music not designed for piano

Rik Kuiper, curator of the Museum of Unintended Use, writes:

[I] received this press release, recently issued by Leiden University. It started like this: “Playing the piano with your forearm, plucking the strings, sawing through the piano: pianist Luk Vaes‘s doctoral dissertation covers all the techniques of play for which a piano is NOT designed.”

It resulted in a story for Dutch popular science magazine Quest (read it in the March issue, which is now available!), and in the little movie you find here.
