Sinha , The Indian Cow: The Scientific and Economic Journal, 2007, vol. 4, no. 13, 2007. The authors, at Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke, Ranchi, India, report:
“The present study was conducted to evaluate seminal attributes of desi cock after administration of Desi cow urine distillate (CUD) at the rate of 1 ml per bird per day. Semen samples were collected from 20 desi cock by massage method after administration of 1 ml CUD daily for 40 days. The ejaculation time (76.6±1.327 vs 75.7±1.264 seconds) of treated and untreated cocks was non-significant. The ejaculate volume, live sperm percentage and normal sperm percentage were also not different between treated and untreated cocks. Whereas, the motile percentage and sperm concentration varied significantly (p<0.01) between treated and untreated cocks.”
