Brooke Keeney joins LFHCfS

Brooke Keeney has joined the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists. Gabriel Gartner who nominated her, says:

BrookeKeeney.jpgI would like to nominate Brooke Keeney. Miss Keeney graduates from the University of California at Berkeley in 2004 with a B.A. in Integrative Biology. She has conducted research in both the lab and field, including North Africa, Tahiti and San Clemente Island in California. She presently is working in the Lab of Dr. Theodore Garland at UC Riverside.? Miss Keeney is currently involved in Dr. Garland’s long term study of selective breeding for high voluntary wheel running in Hsd:ICR house mice, however, her research interests include neurobiology, endocrinology and various aspects of behavior. This is a picture of Miss Keeney in the field with a red diamondback rattlesnake, Crotalus ruber.
