The invention of the 35-day month is, or was, a triumph for its inventors. Those inventors are (according to a September 22,2004 U.S. Department of Justice document): Sanjay Kumar, the former Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Computer Associates International, Inc.; and Stephen Richards, the company’s former Head of Worldwide Sales.
