A heralded inventor — Jozsef Vacity, by name — is said to have solved the problem of snotty children. His invention: a suction device to extract the snot from the child.

Dr. Vacity has also invented a device to aid in moving dustbins, as well as a joint cleaner for tiled surfaces, and many other things.
