Investigator Lee Naish poses a tough philosophical question:
I am a long-term member of LFHCfS [the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists], and like many other academics, have concerns about tenure. When I joined LFHCfS I certainly had LFH. However, in the past two years my hair has become less luxurient and flowing, or at least there is less of it to be luxurient and flowing. Since the club doesn’t appear to have a professional code of ethics or any rules at all for that matter, I’m not sure if I should resign, stay in the club feeling more fraudulent with each passing year or have been granted tenure and can therefore stay in the club and not care at all.
