Ig Nobel Tour of Denmark starts tomorrow

The first Ig Nobel Tour of Denmark starts tomorrow, held in conjunction with The Festival of Research.
All events are free—but you must obtain tickets (here are details, in Danish and in English).

Aarhus, April 22, 7:00 pm. Søauditorierne, Aarhus University, Wilhelm Meyers Alle 1251.

Odense, April 23, 2:00 pm. University of Southern Denmark, in the main campus restaurant, half an hour after the opening ceremony of the Days of Science.

Copenhagen, April 24, 7:00 pm. Lundbeck auditorium Copenhagen, Ole Maaløes Vej 5.

Odense (again), April 25, 11:30 am. Municipal hall in central Flakhaven.

Kerteminde, Fjord&Bælt, April 25, 2:30 pm.

The shows will feature (in slightly different mixes) Marc Abrahams and Ig Nobel Prize winners Bart Knols (malarial mosquitoes are attracted equally to limburger chees and smelly feet), Kees Moeliker (homosexual necrophilia in the mallard duck), Dan Meyer (sword-swallowing and its medical side-effects), Magnus Wahlberg and Håkan Westerberg (herrings apparently communicate by farting).

Magnus Wahlburg has done much of the organizing that made this possible, for which we thank him very much! (The photo shows Magnus, between two colleagues, near a body of water that may contain herrings.)
