Dr. Emil Turc, (presently Maître de Conférences en Sciences de Gestion à l’Institut de Management Public et de Gouvernance Territoriale (IMPGT) d’Aix-en-Provence) proposed two new processes back in April 2001 –
“Knowledge domination and knowledge inactivation eliminate undesired behaviors by altering the perceived validity and, respectively, the operational character of underlying organizational knowledge.”
“All together, unlearning, domination, and inactivation are labeled as knowledge neutralization phenomena.”
The full picture (showing how the process of eliminating knowledge can help save inefficient organisations from slow erosion and eventual bankruptcy) may be found in working paper n° 601 from Institut d’Administration des Entreprises, Clos Guiot, 13540 Puyricard, France.
