A book about our former subscriber

The Wall Street Journal reviews the new book about “Clark Rockefeller“, who subscribed to the Annals of Improbable Research until the authorities took him away (for reasons entirely unrelated, of course, to his choice of magazines). The book is called The Man in the Rockefeller Suit: The Astonishing Rise and Spectacular Fall of a Serial Imposter. The book review includes this passage:

[He] proved especially popular with women, who were charmed by his royal bloodline and courtly manners. “He knew everything about everything,” one woman told me recently. “He was fabulous.”

We can but assume that some of what he learned he learned from reading the Annals of Improbable Research. Was he our most improbable subscriber?
