The head is about the size of a soccer ball, but almost everything — every particle of anything that goes into your body goes in through your head. All your major thoughts and ideas and conceptions about the world occur in your head. You smell there, you taste, you chew, you gargle, you spit, you speak, you hear, your sense of balance, to name just a few. The head is a very small, unbelievably complicated part of the body. If you want to understand humans, you have to understand human heads.
BONUS: Professor Lieberman is also an expert on feet.
