Nothing to disclose, they say

This series of statements — by and about the authors of a scientific study — has at least two different meanings:

T.-H.K. has nothing to disclose. S.-C.M. has nothing to disclose. Y.P.H. has nothing to disclose. Y.J.Y. has nothing to disclose. S.-Y.K. has nothing to disclose. S.C.K. has nothing to disclose.

Do these individuals have nothing to hide? Or are they refusing to disclose any information whatsoever?

The study is “Light and transmission electron microscopic comparisons of sperms between petrochemical factory workers and public servants in a nonindustrialized area“, published online June 3, 2010 in the journal Fertility and Sterility. (Thanks to investigator Ivan Oransky for bringing this to our attention. He points out something that the study does disclose: Collecting semen requires “audiovisual sexual stimuli… after 3 to 5 days of abstinence in a comfortable room”.)
