Arpiar Saunders joins the LFHCfS

Arpiar Saunders has joined the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists. He says:

Based on the simple fact that one can be both dirty and sterile, my biologist friends and I have cultivated a lifestyle of “cleansgusting”. Pushing this envelope, more than once I’ve had to throw out otherwise good reactions because of obvious contamination from an errant lock. I’m honored to see that many members of the LFHCfs must also carry this burden and do so with such style and grace. In terms of justifying my sciencehood, I received my BA in biology and linguistics from Swarthmore College. I’ve done research stints at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology and at the University of New Hampshire. I’m currently a post-bach in monkey flower speciation genomics at U. Montana. Soon I hope to pursue a PhD exploring some intersection of neurophysiology and evolutionary genetics.
