Marbury on medicine: Vaseline

Professional basketball player Stephon Marbury recommends — and demonstrates — his treatment for a sore throat: eat Vaseline.

    My grandmother used to make her children eat Vicks Vapo-Rub when they had a cold. The base of Vapo-Rub is, of course, Vaseline. Luckily my mother only rubbed it on my chest; she didn’t make me eat any.

    I would suspect that the only effect eating Vaseline will have on a person is a distinct urge to sit in the smallest room of the house for an extended period of time.
