Fingers: Ching Yuan’s Law

The special The Meaning of the Finger issue of AIR has resulted in a long chain of e-mails from Ching Yuan (age 12) of Taiwan, who nominates himself for an Ig Nobel prize for establishing Ching Yuan’s Law:

If you want to bring your fingers to your back bends, and every day you must bend your fingers to the limit. And last three years or more. After investigation, as follows:

1. Middle finger to bend to the back first, because it is relatively long.

2. Index finger is the second bend, because it second long.Ching Yuan's Law in Chinese

3. Ring finger due to too rigid, although with the index finger almost long.

4. Little finger almost always less than bend, although soft enough, but not long. (Unless the relatively long)

We do not yet fully comprehend the magnitude of the work of this young researcher, but we are working on it.
