Laurence Connor joins the LFHCfS

connor.jpgLaurence Connor has joined the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for Scientists. He says:

I am a physical scientist at NOAA presently studying the use of satellite radar altimeters to measure sea ice thickness. I have had a diverse scientific career studying mesospheric gravity waves, ocean acoustics, and remote sensing of ocean surface winds. I also made a small scientific mark at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution with my work on wine bottle constrained pressure waves. Three years ago, I wisely abandoned my outdated mullet styling and pursued an early Roger Daltrey look. The result seems to have been more Yanni-esk.
