A wave back in time
Investigator Dan Fingerman writes to remind us about a celebrated research project:
Three scientists used mathematical models developed to analyze pacemakers to analyze The Wave done by Mexican soccer fans. Here are:
A. The paper (published in Nature), data, and videos.
B. The Wave turns 25 this week; an October 15 article in the San Jose Mercury News pointed me to the original paper.
